Terms of use

These terms are an agreement between you and UDO Technologies LLP, 18, Kempanna Layout, Ramachandrapura, Jalahalli Post, Bangalore, Karnataka 560013, India (“we”), which runs Beautiva. By using the Beautiva app or website you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we use your information.

Who can use Beautiva

You must be at least 13. If you are under 18, use Beautiva with a parent or guardian’s permission. Beautiva is not offered in the European Union, the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom at this time.

Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself; you are responsible for what happens in your account. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account.

Your photos

• Only upload photos of yourself, or of someone who has agreed to it. Never upload photos of someone else’s child, nudity, or anything illegal, hateful or meant to harass or deceive.
• Your photos stay yours. You let us use them only to provide what you ask for: checking them, analysing them, making your looks, and showing them where you choose to share them.
• To make your looks we send your photo to our AI provider, OpenAI, which works for us as a service provider. It does not use your photos to train AI models. Our privacy policy explains what it receives and how long it is kept.
• You can delete any photo or look at any time.

AI previews

Looks, face shapes and suggestions are made by AI. They are approximations to help you decide, not a promise of how a real service will turn out, and they can be wrong. Use the Report button if a result is offensive or harmful. Do not use previews to mislead people about who someone is.

The example photos of styles and looks in the app are AI-generated too. They show the idea of a style, not the work of a particular salon or artist. Photos on salon and artist pages are their own.

Style credits and the monthly plan

• Credits and the monthly plan are bought through the App Store or Google Play, at the price shown before you pay. One credit makes one try-on, side view or back view.
• If a try-on fails, its credit is returned automatically. Otherwise credits cannot be exchanged for money.
• The monthly plan renews each month until you cancel it in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings. Cancelling stops the next renewal; credits you already have stay in your account.
• Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules.
• Credits and plans have no value outside Beautiva and end if your account is deleted.

Salons, artists and bookings

Salons and artists listed in Beautiva are independent businesses. A booking is an agreement between you and them; they set their prices and are responsible for their services. We pass on your booking request but are not a party to it. Reviews must be honest and about a real visit.

What you may not do

• Break the law, or anyone’s privacy or copyright.
• Copy, scrape, reverse engineer or overload the service, or get around its limits.
• Sell or resell Beautiva results or accounts.

We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these terms.

Our content

The app, its design, its style catalogue and photos belong to us or the people who license them to us. You may use them only within Beautiva and to share your own looks.

Liability

We provide Beautiva “as is” and work to keep it running, but cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms. We will change the date above and tell you in the app if a change is important. If you do not agree, stop using Beautiva and delete your account.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bangalore have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring a claim there.
